The IT Project Supervisor is a position used by various agencies throughout the state. This is responsible administrative and technical work managing projects which are complex in nature. Incumbents in this class are responsible for project planning, overseeing activities of the project team, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing project plans, timelines, and accountabilities. They direct the administrative and technical work of a project team in systems planning studies, information needs assessments, and systems analysis, and review approaches and methods to assess effectiveness in meeting management objectives.
