Kandis was an excellent web developer! We referred to Kandis as our Social Director. She often put other peoples’ needs before her own. Kandis was always looking for how she could help regardless of the situation.

I knew Kandis starting at the Alabama Department of Transportation about nine years ago. She was a really good worker, and after I arrived at SPD, I recommended to Tom we bring her on. When she transferred over here, she immediately got to work, taking a big load off my plate.
Every morning, she would walk by my office and cheerfully say good morning. After every conversation, she would say “if you need anything, just let me know. I’m right here.” And it was true. We were a very good team, because where I was weak, she was strong – and where she was weak, I was strong.
She was a huge fan of television and Harry Potter and could always answer any questions about them you might have. Kandis was fun to have around. She was always friendly, always kind, and always happy. I’ll miss her.
